It is reported that from February 4 to 10, the capital airport guaranteed 11000 flights and transported 1989000 passengers. As an important ground support unit of the capital airport, BGS successfully completed the transportation support task of the Spring Festival holiday, and won the double harvest of safety control and service quality.
 
Unlike other public holidays, the spring festival gives Chinese a deeper meaning. In this traditional lunar month, the returning army, which accounts for nearly half of the world's population, will complete a huge migration journey. In order to ensure the safe and orderly transportation during the Spring Festival transportation and let the passengers go home safely, on the eve of the Spring Festival, BGS formulated a comprehensive support deployment mobilization based on the previous spring transportation support experience, and required paying attention to service details and implementing it to all posts safely.
 
Enjoy two cabins: create a traditional Chinese year
In recent years, people's standard of travel is higher and higher, and the rest room, once only for high-end business travelers, is increasingly accepted by the public. As a high-end BGS passenger service project, the first-class and business class (two cabin) lounges are recognized and trusted by airline customers once they are launched. With the rise of cooperation alliance between airlines, BGS's two cabin lounge service scope is becoming wider and wider. At present, BGS has two cabin lounges in terminal 2 and terminal 3 of capital airport, providing high-end passenger service for 22 airlines.
 
On the eve of the Spring
Festival every year, there is a peak passenger flow in the two cabin lounge, with an average daily service growth of 40%. In order to create a strong spring festival atmosphere for travelers, BGS decorates the lounges with festival decorations, couplets, window decorations, and Chinese knots, all of which make visitors feel the warmth of home. The beautiful scenery cannot leave the company of delicious food, and the Spring Festival meal in the two cabin lounge is also quite exquisite. Through communication with food suppliers, during the Spring Festival, BGS launched the "Spring Festival special" with full flavor of the year: hot dumplings and sticky New Year cakes. The taste of home warms every "Chinese stomach" that is about to travel far away.
 
Mail delivery: VIP service all year round
Online shopping has become the most common consumption form of Chinese people. On the eve of the Spring Festival, online e-commerce has launched new year's promotion activities, and the express industry has ushered in the annual "spring transportation" peak. Different from the hot online shopping market, many express companies have stopped collecting goods, but the express delivery industry has not become indifferent.
 
In 2013, BGS established cooperation with SF express, a leading express logistics integrated service provider in China, and launched the Inbound express delivery service for SF express. During the Spring Festival when some express companies choose to "close", SF's delivery business does not close; moreover, the pick-up rate of SF before the Spring Festival also shows a significant upward trend. In addition to the continuous booming of express goods, the transportation volume of fresh and perishable goods such as fruits and vegetables, seafood and live animals also increased, which means that BGS's domestic inbound express business will usher in a new peak volume. In order to cope with the peak volume of spring transportation, BGS fully communicated with the cooperative express transportation company in advance to plan and deploy the details of increment and efficiency. Internally, BGS has formulated the peak period guarantee plan from the aspects of shift scheduling personnel, equipment and site, and reasonably deployed the existing resources. BGS is fully prepared and all the chains are working together to let you at home get the package as soon as possible.
 
The first snow: it's a little later than the one that came back and forth
On February 6, the second day of the lunar new year, snowfall occurred in some parts of Beijing. There was a large amount of snow in the capital airport area, and obvious snow appeared on the pavement and apron of the region. Different from the excitement of ordinary citizens to welcome the first snowfall, the sudden "arrival" of special weather is a severe test for civil aviation practitioners.
 
On the morning of the 6th, snowflakes began to appear sporadically in the airport area. Subsequently, the capital airport issued a large area of flight delay warning notice, BGS for the first deicing support to make active preparations. The snow is not heavy during the day, but experienced crew members detect a different situation from the low clouds. Sure enough, from 19:00 p.m., the snow in the capital airport area was getting heavier and heavier. BGS immediately took measures to deal with it, sending 7 deicing trucks and 21 employees to the snow removal work. In order to ensure the smooth guarantee of the first snowfall, BGS also gathered the standby staff and mobilized more de icing vehicles to cope with the snow situation.
 
The de icing mode has been started in this deicing, which requires the de icing personnel and vehicles to complete the "walk" of different stands in a short time to avoid flight delay caused by snow removal delay; secondly, due to the lack of fixed deicing machine space, the de icing vehicles need to shuttle between different stands, which often encounter the situation of de icing in two stands, which requires deicing personnel and vehicles It is a great challenge for the de icing personnel both in technology and experience to complete the de icing operation in the narrow area between the stands. Due to the heavy snow, the traffic conditions around the airport are not optimistic. After receiving the deicing task, the temporarily called de icing staff resolutely gave up the reunion with their families, rushed to the de icing site under the traffic pressure and immediately put into the de icing operation. According to statistics, from February 6 to the morning of 7 February, BGS guaranteed 22 de icing flights, accounting for nearly half of the capital airport's de icing support, and successfully completed the first snowfall support task in 2019!
 
In order to do a good job in the passenger service of the terminal and meet the beautiful travel needs of the vast number of passengers, BGS launched a series of service activities of "worry free travel, happy departure" at the check-in counter for the fourth consecutive year. It helps passengers to travel smoothly by carrying out "love counter" and "mobile inquiry" and other beneficial services. In addition, BGS Youth League Committee actively responded to the call for volunteer service of "warm winter action" of the Youth League Committee of CAAC, and Selected Young League members with excellent business to form a mobile passenger assistance group to provide assistance services for the Spring Festival travel passengers.
