According to the report, during the golden week of National Day Holiday from 0 o’clock of Sep 30 to 24 o’clock of Oct 7, BCIA provided service support for 11,819 flights and 1.816 million passengers, with the daily average passenger throughout of 227,000 and the number of daily flights handled of 1,477. Compared with the same period of the last year, the passenger throughput and the number of flights handled increased by 2.71% and 4.36% respectively.

　　To guarantee the smooth operation of the airport and provide safe and convenient travel environment for passengers during the golden week of National Day Holiday, BCIA strictly followed the requirements of “safety, quality, order and benefit”, and seriously implemented the service operation plan of the golden week. To ensure the smooth operation during this period, BCIA mainly paid its attention to the following aspects: strengthening safety inspection, monitoring flight operation, passenger inquiry, guiding service and traffic control, etc. At the same time, in order to ensure the smooth airport operation, BCIA has also provided a “safe and smooth, convenient and efficient, comfortable and pleasant” travel experience for passengers.
