  Currently, the 17th World Route Development Forum is held in Berlin, Germany. More than 2000 representatives, from different countries and regions attend this forum,including 312 airlines, 578 airports, 71tourism organizations, as well as 137 other relevant trade organizations, international organizations and suppliers. Berlin Forum inherits the tenet of the World Route Development Forum, and provides great opportunities and a broad platform for the exchange and cooperation among global civil aviation industry.

  During the forum, high profile entrepreneurs of the world aviation industry will have a strategic dialogue on hot topics such as development vision, energy saving and environment protection, air transportation and economy, as well as how aviation industry promotes the regional economic development.

  Meanwhile, BCIA worked with 6 other domestic airports of China to establish the "China Airports Collaborative Marketing Committee", and the purpose is to build the overall image of China airport industry, and to introduce the Chinese airports to the world.

  As the leading enterprise of China aviation industry, BCIA established the "Chinatown" together with 6 other airports of Shanghai Airports (Authority) Limited Corporation, Guangdong Airport Management Corporation, Hainan Airlines Airport Group, Yunnan Airport Group Co. Ltd, Xinjiang Airport Group Co, Ltd and Henan Zhengzhou Xinzheng International airport and attended this forum. Through this forum, all the members of "China Town" will further demonstrate their strength to the world, create strategic opportunities to develop market, and enhance the international fame of China's aviation industry and enterprises.

  By taking the World Route Development Forum as a platform to communicate with the outside world, we can build the overall brand image of China's airport industry, expand the international air route network, increase destinations and frequencies. Advocated by BCIA, six domestic airports jointly signed the written proposal of establishing "China Airports Collaborative Marketing Committee" and thus established this committee.

  According to the report, the "China Airports Collaborative Marketing Committee" is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, which charges no membership frees to its members. The main purpose of the committee is to improve the marketing of China's airports, strengthen and deepen mutual communication and business cooperation, and promote the marketing effects of its member airports. The committee will organize exchange activities for its members regularly, and strengthen the exchange and sharing of the experience, practice, concepts and information of marketing activities to promote the overall marketing level and capacity of its members and build their good images. Meanwhile, according to the conditions and needs of its members, the committee will organize them to jointly participate in international large-scale activities, build the overall image of China airport industry, and assist its members to enhance their international influence and marketing effect. "With our joint effort, ‘China Airports Collaborative Marketing Committee' will definitely make great contributions to promoting the healthy, stable and sustainable development of marketing of China's airport industry." Zhang Guanghui, the general manager of BCIA said, "The main purpose of participation of the World Route Development Forum is to attract more international airlines to come to Capital Airport and increase the number of international flights. So far, Capital Airport has attended the World Route Development Forum for six successive years." Zhang Guanghui introduced that, the marketing team of Capital Airport has established its goals based on the actual situation of different destinations in different continents, including consolidating European traditional market, expanding markets of the Middle East and southern Africa, making the medium and long-term development plan of the America market, and copying the rapid growth model of short-range and low-cost airlines of Asia Pacific area.

  On the forum, BCIA had one-to-one talks with 26 passenger airlines, 5 cargo airlines and 5 airports, and also had talks with well-known airlines such as Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd., Swiss International AirLines, LOT Polish Airlines, Kenya Airways, Gulf Air, Delta Air Lines, Airasia Airline, etc.  Meanwhile, as for the regions which have not been developed, the marketing team of BCIA has also carried out market researches and contacted airlines from those regions in advance, so as to lay a foundation for future cooperation,to speed up the establishment of new air routes, and thus to promote the construction of large international hub airport.
