BGS is fully committed to ensuring smooth operations of all-cargo flights during the Spring Festival travel season.

As the Spring Festival travel rush approaches, the peak in cargo volume has arrived earlier than usual, partly because New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival fall in the same month. From January 5 to 17, BGS ensured the smooth handling of 113 inbound full-cargo flights, efficiently sorting and retrieving 2,528,875 kilograms of incoming cargo; and handled 114 outbound flights, ensuring the timely and safe dispatch of 2,449,112 kilograms of cargo. After New Year’s Day, the full-cargo operations of various airlines have significantly increased, with the daily number of inbound and outbound full-cargo flights expected to reach between 18 and 25. This has placed considerable pressure on BGS, which is already experiencing a peak in cargo-handling demand. To ensure the smooth operation of flights, BGS promptly adjusted its staffing arrangements, redeployed key personnel, and established a temporary full-cargo operations team. With specialized, targeted services, this team is accelerating the rapid sorting and retrieval of inbound cargo while also facilitating the collection, assembly, and dispatch of outbound cargo. Given the large volumes of cargo assembled on freighters, prolonged operation times, and heavy demands on equipment and personnel, BGS has implemented advance pre-assignment of cargo: after verifying and connecting containers ready for departure, they are centrally stored for easy retrieval later on. The Cargo Quality Control Team closely monitors the assembly status in the warehouse area as well as computerized information, adhering to the “three early” principle: conducting inspections and verifications ahead of time, connecting containers ahead of time, and completing relevant documentation ahead of time, thereby speeding up the handover process for outbound shipments. In 2012, BGS will continue to expand its business scope to meet the diversified needs of customers, providing them with more and more professional, personalized services.
