To thoroughly implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on civil aviation safety, and in accordance with the Civil Aviation Administration’s requirements for swiftly launching the “whistleblower” initiative for safety, and taking into account our actual work conditions, the BGS Youth League Committee organized a briefing session titled “Boldly Embracing Youth Responsibility and Striving to Be Safety Whistleblowers” on the afternoon of June 30. A total of 16 young League members and key business personnel from frontline operational units and functional departments participated in the briefing.

Jia Li from the Youth League Branch of the Passenger Transport Department delivered a presentation titled “The Great Responsibility of a Little Check-in Agent,” earning unanimous praise from the judges and ultimately taking first place. Sun Pengfei from the Youth League Branch of the Comprehensive Support Department and Zhou Yan from the Youth League Branch of the Cargo Transport Department were awarded second prize; Yang Dong from the Youth League Branch of the Cargo Transport Department, Li Yue from the Youth League Branch of the Apron Department, and Yang Xiaojiao from the Youth League Branch of the Passenger Transport Department received third prize.

During the publicity event, each presenter drew on their actual work experience and personal insights, using vivid examples, sincere language, and unique perspectives to passionately share how they are playing a role as Communist Youth League members in their respective positions—making outstanding contributions in areas such as safety management, epidemic prevention and control, and youth innovation. Their presentations not only demonstrated the young employees’ courage to take responsibility and their determination to serve as “whistleblowers” in safety work, but also showcased their youthful vigor—marked by hard work, relentless striving, and a willingness to shoulder responsibilities.

In light of the epidemic situation and防疫 requirements, this briefing will be conducted via a dual-video conference platform and online review. The event focuses on safe production and leverages the historic opportunity presented by the centenary of the Communist Youth League’s founding to encourage young League members and youth cadres to demonstrate dedication, take on responsibilities bravely, act proactively, and dare to pioneer in their workplaces. With full enthusiasm and high spirits, they will help the company firmly grasp safe production, maintain a stable safety environment, and contribute their youthful energy to promoting the company’s high-quality development and creating a safe and stable environment for the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
