To celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to inspire Party members at all levels to excel in their posts and strive for excellence, thereby welcoming the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Party with outstanding achievements, BGS has recently carried out a variety of rich and meaningful “July 1st” Party-building activities.

To inspire all Party members to carry forward and uphold the Party’s fine traditions, strengthen their ideals and convictions, and deepen their love for the Party and the country, the Party Committee of BGS has organized a special thematic activity titled “Remembering Our Original Aspirations: A Letter of Pledge to the Party.” New and veteran Party members from various Party branches have reaffirmed their入党 oaths under the Party flag, recalling their original aspirations when they first joined the Party and expressing with sincere vows their sense of responsibility and commitment as Communist Party members in the new era. Combining this with their actual work, Party members have openly discussed how they can better play a pioneering and exemplary role in their respective positions. They have solemnly made commitments that in their future work, they will fulfill their duties conscientiously, stay true to their original aspirations, and persistently move forward with determination on the new journey toward building a strong civil aviation nation.

During the “July 1” period, grassroots Party branches across various units celebrated the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China by organizing a variety of red-themed activities. The Party Branch Committee of the Passenger Transport Department organized a Party-building and business knowledge competition titled “Learning Through Exams to Welcome July 1,” promoting the deep integration of Party building with business operations and guiding Party members to consistently, regularly, and diversely carry out Party history study and education, thereby strengthening grassroots Party organizations. A themed Party Day activity titled “Hold Reverence, Uphold Our Original Aspirations” was also held, during which Party members reaffirmed their入党誓词, further inspiring their patriotic enthusiasm. The Party Branch Committee of the Freight Transport Department organized a joint celebration Party Day event called “Blossoming Bauhinia, Looking Toward the Future,” marking the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland, thus carrying forward the spirit of patriotism and further reinforcing Party building leadership. The Party Branch Committees of the Apron Management Department and the Aircraft Maintenance Department arranged for branch secretaries to deliver Party lessons. Under the guidance of the branch secretaries, Party members studied and gained a deeper understanding of the spirit and significance of Deng Xiaoping’s “Southern Tour Speeches” in 1992, profoundly grasping the great historical significance of reform and opening-up. The Party Branch Committee of the Central Operations Control Center organized “Two Concentrations” and Party members at their posts to revisit the century-long history of the Party, study golden quotes and classic sayings from the People’s Daily, and share their insights and reflections, further enhancing ideological refinement and Party spirit cultivation, inspiring Party members’ love for the Party and the country, and encouraging those around them to actively join the Party organization. The directly affiliated Party branch of Chentong Company conducted a special Party lesson themed “Warmly Welcoming the 20th National Congress and Striding Forward on a New Journey,” calling on all Party members to strive to become qualified Party members of the new era and to greet the 20th National Congress of the Party with vigor and determination.

To further deepen our consensus on cooperation, promote mutual development of Party branches through joint Party building initiatives, continuously boost organizational vitality, and consolidate collaborative momentum, recently, the Party branches of BGS have actively carried out both internal and external co-construction activities. The Party General Branch of the Organizational Department has organized a branch-to-branch co-construction initiative titled “Unite Hearts and Strengths, Advance Hand in Hand.” Ten Party branches within the Organizational Department have each paired up with a grassroots Party branch from an operational department, strengthening communication and collaboration between the two sides, jointly promoting business development, and establishing a regular and long-term mechanism for integrating Party building with business operations. The West Duty Party Branch of the Passenger Transport Department and the Second Duty Team of the Sixth Duty Detachment of the Beijing Entry-Exit Frontier Inspection Station jointly launched a co-construction activity themed “Inheriting the Red Gene, Continuing the Spiritual Legacy,” working together to achieve new successes in elevating the level of Party building within both Party branches.

Through the implementation of a series of activities, the thoughts of the Party members across the company have been profoundly purified and elevated, further strengthening their ideals and convictions and igniting their enthusiasm for work. In the coming period, all Party members must always keep the revolutionary history in mind, carry forward the red heritage of the Communist Party of China, bear in mind “the interests of the nation above all else,” and strive to become builders of our country’s strength in civil aviation and committed, action-oriented fighters. By harnessing the “red momentum,” we will enhance BGS’s ability to lead high-quality development and celebrate the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC.
