To further advance the construction of a digital and smart airport at Capital Airport Group, the Group’s Financial Management Department recently held a research meeting with BGS’s Finance Department on the master data management project in the financial domain. At the meeting, relevant officials from Capital Airport Group introduced the ongoing roadmap for building a smart airport, including top-level design for data governance and other related aspects. The Financial Management Department of Capital Airport Group will leverage the construction of the financial-domain master data platform to promote the integration of business and finance, thereby laying a solid foundation for digital transformation. Based on their practical work experience, members of the Finance Department engaged in in-depth discussions with the research team on topics such as procurement payments, sales collections, fixed assets, and budgeting. Department heads, drawing on their industry experience, provided the research team with valuable advice on master data setup procedures and methodologies. They also expressed their hope that in the future, through technologies such as intelligent image recognition, intelligent voice recognition, intelligent auditing, and intelligent payment, they could maximize human-machine interaction and data sharing, thereby reducing the daily accounting workload of finance staff and optimizing solutions to a range of challenges—including cumbersome reimbursement processes in related departments and difficulties in verifying fixed assets—thus truly helping the company achieve cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. The research team remarked that this research session was highly rewarding and packed with practical insights, providing substantial assistance to the Group in its master data setup efforts.
