Recently, BGS The Party Committee convened an expanded special seminar on thematic education for the Party Committee’s theoretical study center group. Members of the Party Committee and secretaries of all general Party branches and directly affiliated Party branches conducted a focused discussion, drawing on their learning experiences and practical work, around the theme: “Building Party branches into strong bastions that drive high-quality development.” The meeting was chaired by Lü Haifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board. Also in attendance were Zhang Hongkong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager; Zhang Yichen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection; and Shi Yuhong, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager.

The meeting conveyed the Party-wide directive to carry out in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, as well as the spirit of Comrade Xi Jinping’s speech at the Work Conference on Studying and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. We must resolutely implement the overarching requirements of “studying thought, strengthening Party spirit, emphasizing practice, and achieving new accomplishments,” truly and deeply grasping the decisive significance of the “two establishments” from political, ideological, and practical perspectives, and firmly upholding the “two safeguards.” Second, we must adhere to a problem-oriented approach and conduct thorough investigation and research. We should firmly establish a clear orientation toward prioritizing grassroots-level work and translate the findings of our investigations into tangible results that advance our work and drive development. Third, we must strengthen integration and synergy to prevent a disconnect between theory and practice. We should integrate the implementation of thematic education with the promotion of all aspects of the company’s work, properly balancing business operations with thematic education. Throughout the thematic education, we must continuously and thoroughly implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on civil aviation work, focus on addressing the most challenging and bottleneck issues in our work, effectively enhance the political theory level and scientific transformation capabilities of Party members and cadres, and ensure that we excel in both areas—giving equal weight and strength to both.
