To comprehensively strengthen and enhance cybersecurity awareness among all employees and improve their ability to defend against cyber threats, in conjunction with the 2023 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week and the summary of this recent cybersecurity campaign, the Department of Science and Technology Information recently organized a special cybersecurity training session themed “Enhancing Cybersecurity Awareness and Solidifying the Cybersecurity Defense Line.” A total of 46 participants attended the training.  

This specialized cybersecurity training session features a live lecture by professional cybersecurity trainer, Ms. Miao Chunyu. The session focuses on three key areas: the current cybersecurity landscape both domestically and internationally, cybersecurity risks in your daily life, and security precautions you should take at work. It includes in-depth analysis of national laws and regulations such as the Cybersecurity Law, real-world case studies—such as cracking mobile apps used by participants—and simulations of authentic hacking techniques. Additionally, the session presents actual examples of cyberattacks, plays cybersecurity awareness videos, and educates employees on how to prevent fraud and social engineering attacks. This initiative aims to enhance employees’ cybersecurity awareness and their sensitivity toward protecting confidential information, foster a culture of cybersecurity within the company, and strengthen the company’s overall cybersecurity defense system.

Going forward, to facilitate learning for all employees, the Department of Science and Technology Information will upload training videos to the cloud platform, thereby enhancing employees’ cybersecurity awareness and strengthening the company’s overall cybersecurity posture, providing robust support for high-quality development.
