Recently, the finals of the Group Company’s 4th Staff Table Tennis and Badminton League, which lasted six days, came to a close. Shi Yuhong, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the company, attended the closing ceremony of the finals.

In this final competition, the BGS team sent 12 athletes to participate. Before the event, the union organized training sessions that combined practice with competition, enabling the athletes to enter the tournament with high morale and peak competitive form. During the competition, the athletes adhered to the principle of "friendship first, competition second," demonstrating sportsmanship, honing their skills, and showcasing their风采. As the table tennis players held their rackets, they focused intently on their opponents, serving, receiving, and counterattacking with swift and precise movements, earning continuous applause from the spectators. In the badminton matches, the athletes repeatedly delivered powerful smashes and made fearless dives to save the shuttlecock, embodying a spirited, proactive, and upward-striving fighting spirit. After six days of intense competition, the BGS team achieved outstanding results, placing seventh in the men’s team event of table tennis and securing third place in the men’s Group A singles event of badminton.

On the playing field, the BGS team demonstrated courage and determination, fully showcasing the positive, upward-looking, and enterprising spirit of BGS members. Moving forward, BGS will further promote a healthy and uplifting culture, foster a positive work environment, and continuously inject new vitality into BGS’s development.
