To steadily advance the thematic education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and to inspire employees’ wisdom and vitality in innovation and creativity, the BGS trade union recently launched a “Golden Ideas” solicitation campaign.

This “Golden Idea” solicitation campaign focuses primarily on areas such as operational cost management, safety and quality, and labor efficiency improvement. To boost employee participation, we’ve adopted an online submission method via DingTalk. The campaign employs a series of functional processes—including idea collection, review and registration, listing of approved ideas, public announcement of winners, and implementation planning—to ensure full-process transparency and visibility, as well as efficient approval at each stage, thus establishing a “one-stop” operational model—from idea generation to implementation. During the campaign, initiators, approvers, and project mentors can all perform tasks and engage in interactive communication online via mobile phones or computers, fostering an innovative “ecosystem” characterized by demand-driven collaboration, resource sharing, and dynamic updates.

It is reported that since the launch of the initiative, the BGS union has received a total of 19 “golden ideas” submitted online. For instance, an employee from the Maintenance Department proposed switching to an inter-departmental electronic handover form to address the existing issues in cargo and mail handover between the Apron Operations Department and the Cargo Department. Another example is a suggestion from a Cargo Department employee, prompted by the increasing demands on manpower and resources due to the ongoing evolution of IATA’s dangerous goods regulations: to introduce inspection fees for lithium battery and dry ice dangerous goods shipments. Moving forward, in line with the Group Company’s “cost reduction and efficiency enhancement” directives, the BGS union will organize relevant departments and offices to implement the suggestions collected during this initiative, ensuring that the positive outcomes of the “golden ideas” campaign are quickly reflected in high-quality development achievements.
