To further carry forward and promote traditional Chinese culture and create a warm and festive atmosphere for the Mid-Autumn Festival, the company’s trade union recently organized a hands-on DIY mooncake-making event titled “Full of Love on Mid-Autumn, Reuniting in ‘Food Moments’” with the assistance of the Culinary Association. More than 60 employees from various sub-unions participated in the activity.
During the activity, the instructor provided a detailed explanation of the steps and precautions involved in making mooncakes—kneading the dough, wrapping the filling, shaping the cakes using molds, and pressing decorative patterns onto the molds. After listening to the instructions, the employees couldn't wait to get started and immediately began crafting their own mooncakes. Amidst laughter and cheerful chatter, beautifully crafted, colorful mooncakes were carefully arranged on the table. Afterwards, the employees carefully placed the finished mooncakes into exquisite gift boxes, ready to take home and share with family and friends. Employees who participated in the event expressed that this Mid-Autumn Festival activity not only allowed them to enjoy a delightful time together but also gave them the joy of making mooncakes with their own hands. They thanked the company’s union for its constant care and attention toward them.
Through this event, employees gained a deeper understanding of the cultural significance and unique charm of traditional Chinese festivals, enriching their spiritual and cultural lives. In the next phase of work, the trade union will continue to organize activities in various forms, providing employees with even more thoughtful, dedicated, and heartwarming services, and steadily enhancing their sense of fulfillment, happiness, and belonging.
