The crisp autumn breeze carries the fragrant aroma of chrysanthemums, and the sentiment of honoring the elderly grows ever stronger on Double Ninth Festival. As the Double Ninth Festival approaches, in order to carry forward the fine Chinese tradition of “respecting, cherishing, loving, and assisting the elderly” and enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of retired employees, BGS organized a fall outing and flower-viewing fellowship event for its retirees on October 18. Nearly thirty retired employees participated in the activity.  

On the day of the event, the autumn weather was crisp and refreshing, with a clear, cloudless sky. The retired employees took a bus to the International Flower Port and strolled leisurely through the garden. Some wandered in small groups amid the sea of brilliantly colored flowers, while others eagerly admired the various blooms along the path, pausing frequently to take photos and check in—happy smiles beaming on their faces. Along the way, the employees enthusiastically shared stories about their years of growth and collaboration with the company, reminiscing about fond memories from their working days. These heartfelt conversations resonated deeply with the veteran colleagues. The retired employees expressed that this long-awaited reunion filled them with joy and gratitude for the company’s heartfelt care and attention toward them.

During this Double Ninth Festival event, retired employees not only enjoyed a relaxing and pleasant time outdoors but also strengthened communication and exchange among themselves. In the next phase of work, BGS will continue to pay close attention to the leisure activities of retired employees, create opportunities for them to gather and socialize, build platforms for fostering closer relationships, and further enhance their sense of belonging and happiness.
