To effectively strengthen safety culture development, solidify the safety foundation, enhance team leaders’ safety management capabilities, and promote exchange and development among work teams, BGS recently held its first Safety Training Camp for Team Leaders, which was attended by 40 team leaders from various operational departments.
This safety training camp for team leaders consists of three sessions, primarily focusing on BGS team building and management. Guided by the principle of fostering learning through internal and external exchanges and integrating theory with practice, we have invited external experts and scholars to deliver lectures at the camp. Through analyzing the latest industry safety trends, introducing team-level safety management models, and examining specific issues related to safety attitudes and behaviors, the team leaders have gained a deeper understanding of industry safety management. Meanwhile, relevant business departments within the company have provided focused instruction—based on typical unsafe incidents from recent years—on how team leaders can effectively fulfill their safety management responsibilities, manage document violations, and implement counter-terrorism measures. In addition, the company organized fire safety training and hands-on skill competitions.
In addition, BGS organized trainees to visit and learn at the Beijing Municipal Safety Education Training Base. Led by company executives, the team also traveled to security companies to study and exchange work management experiences with the Baihe Team and the Yiyang Team. Finally, BGS conducted a graduation assessment. Team leaders from various departments shared their insights and experiences in safety management based on their learning during the training camp, and engaged in lively discussions and exchanges. The content of this training camp was both profound and easy to understand, richly detailed and vividly presented, seamlessly integrating theory with practice. It provided strong guidance and practical applicability for team leaders to effectively carry out safety production and labor protection tasks. This initiative further enhanced the safety awareness and capabilities of the team members, promoting a deeper, more meticulous, and more concrete approach to safety production. Participants unanimously expressed that they had greatly benefited from this training.
In the future, BGS will rely on building a strong team of shift leaders as its foundation, continuously strengthen the “three fundamentals,” and consistently enhance safety awareness and management practices, thereby providing solid safety guarantees for the company’s high-quality development.
