The “Double 11” logistics guarantee has become an annual “major test” for assessing cargo transportation operations. To ensure effective delivery services during “Double 11,” BGS has drawn on its experience from previous years, proactively planned ahead, and taken a proactive approach to continuously enhance the quality of its capacity, safety, and service levels, thereby fully preparing for the peak in cargo volume.  

To ensure the safe and efficient flow of goods in and out of the port, BGS held a coordination meeting well in advance, actively communicating and exchanging information with all relevant parties. We forecasted cargo volume trends, clarified the layout of cargo handling areas, refined operational details, and developed comprehensive contingency plans. We optimized the management of personnel and equipment: shift supervisors on the front lines were kept on 24-hour standby, and staff were promptly deployed during peak cargo periods to ensure zero pressure on staffing levels and prevent cargo backlogs. We also prepared emergency response plans to guarantee rapid reaction and efficient resolution of any unexpected situations. During cargo receipt, we carefully reviewed the reweighing data and telegraph transmission records for outbound shipments to prevent hidden cargo from going undetected. We strengthened inspections and maintenance of on-site equipment and facilities, keeping detailed and comprehensive records. Furthermore, we organized training sessions and safety awareness programs for all staff members at various posts, enhancing their service consciousness and improving overall service quality to ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

It is reported that from November 1 to 12, BGS handled a total of 4,274.67 tons of domestic cargo, with the highest single-day volume reaching 462 tons. As an integral part of the capital airport’s “air couriers,” BGS has always placed great emphasis on service details and quality, adopting a spirit of continuous improvement and meticulous, professional operations to provide customers with safer and more efficient air cargo services.
