Recently, the BGS Aviation Ground Service Production Monitoring System was awarded the Third Prize of the Group’s 2023 “Technology Innovation Award” and the “Intellectual Property Award” (for its software copyright, “Aviation Ground Service Production Monitoring System V1.0”).

It is reported that the system is built on the intelligent management system for production and operations at the Capital International Airport and is applied to daily monitoring and support in the central control and dispatch modules. It enables graphical monitoring and integrated management of flight support processes, as well as functions such as management of system data dictionaries, aggregation and statistical analysis of flight data, operational reporting and normality statistics, and the issuance and management of next-day and long-term flight schedules. Built using a microservices architecture, this system reduces both deployment costs and hardware maintenance expenses. By integrating with a large-screen dashboard for real-time visualization of business support metrics and trends, the system helps enhance enterprise decision-making capabilities, mitigate operational risks, reduce employee workload, improve user service levels, and boost office efficiency.

The launch of this system has not only brought about a significant transformation in BGS’s flight support operations but has also provided a valuable reference case for the digital transformation of the aviation support industry. Moving forward, the Department of Science and Technology Information will continue to develop and promote the functionalities of the production and operation system, apply for intellectual property rights for various other system-related achievements, and help the company take firm steps toward its transformation into a new type of ground service enterprise driven by technological innovation.
