To enhance effective communication between employees and the company, strengthen the integration and sense of responsibility of college graduates in the company’s development process, and leverage the role of Party building to guide grassroots-level construction, BGS held a symposium for Party-member college graduates on November 17. Zhang Hongkong, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Zhang Yichen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the meeting and delivered keynote speeches.

At the meeting, 13 college graduates who are Party members and have graduated within the past two years shared their insights on grassroots Party building, discussed how to achieve deep integration between grassroots Party building and professional work, and talked about how they can fully demonstrate the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members in their respective positions. They not only shared their views and perspectives but also analyzed existing problems and proposed concrete measures, and, most importantly, expressed their firm commitment based on their own experiences.

The company’s leadership fully affirmed the remarks made by the 13 Party members and, drawing on their own work experiences, shared the development history of BGS as well as the promising prospects for the industry. They encouraged the Party members to keep their eyes fixed on the stars, their hearts anchored in the vast rivers and mountains, to gallop forward on the strength of their dreams, and to cherish their youthful years. They urged the Party members to embrace a more vigorous, upbeat spirit and adopt a pragmatic, pioneering work style, so as to run well the “relay race” of high-quality development. At the same time, they set forth specific requirements for the Party members: First, spread positive energy and grow together with the company. No matter how great the difficulties or obstacles may be, they must remain steadfast in their convictions, draw wisdom from profound reflections, and gather strength through persistent efforts. Second, while cherishing lofty ideals and gazing at the stars, they must also work diligently and stay grounded. The greatest truths are often the simplest; practical action is paramount. They should fully play their role as exemplary Party members and pioneers in their posts—only by staying firmly rooted in reality can they truly reach for the stars. Third, they must intensify their learning. In terms of content, they should not only study professional and theoretical knowledge but also gain a deeper understanding of the national economy and industry trends, thus broadening both the depth and breadth of their thinking. As for learning methods, they should make good use of fragmented time and leverage various platforms to enhance their self-learning; in their daily work, they should learn from their seniors, and consistently integrate learning, thinking, and practice, ensuring that their knowledge, beliefs, and actions are unified.

Relevant officials from the Party and Mass Work Department and the Human Resources Department attended the meeting.
