To further strengthen the foundation of grassroots Party building, promote the development of “four-strong” Party branches, give full play to the role of Party branches as fighting fortresses and that of Party members as pioneers and role models, and enhance the capacity of grassroots Party organizations to carry out standardized and normative Party building work, BGS organized a grassroots Party building exchange meeting on November 15. More than 40 secretaries of general Party branches and Party branches, as well as Party affairs staff from various departments, attended the meeting.

At the exchange meeting, the three Party (general) branch secretaries who had previously attended the special training workshop for Party branch secretaries organized by the Group Company shared in-depth insights on their learning experiences from the workshop, key aspects of the course content, personal study takeaways, as well as interpretations of case studies on integrating Party building with business operations and guidance on conducting research and writing reports. Attendees carefully studied and thoroughly understood the shared content.

The General Operations Control and Load Planning Party Branch, which was awarded the 2020 Group Company’s Model Base-Level Party Building Site and “One Elimination, One Control, Two Innovations” Model Site, shared its experiences and new approaches to party building—including the “Four Ones” mechanism for branch development and the “Six Focuses and One Promotion” management method. Meanwhile, the International Party Branch of the Freight Department, which was recognized as a 2022 Group Company’s Model Base-Level Party Building Site, exchanged and shared its outstanding management practices—such as deepening the integration of party building with business operations through the “Party Building Plus” model and adopting the work philosophy of “Three Promotions and One Service”—as well as other innovative methods in party building.

The Party and Mass Work Department shared and interpreted the key contents and latest requirements from the recently issued checklist on Party branch responsibilities for fully enforcing strict Party governance and for standardized and normative development, as well as an analysis of the strengths of award-winning micro-video Party classes and key production points.

This grassroots Party building exchange initiative aims to uphold the clear orientation of "focusing vigorously on the grassroots" and continuously enhance the political and organizational functions of grassroots Party organizations. Moving forward, the Party and Mass Work Department will focus on key areas of Party building within the Group Company and BGS, and will continue to organize exchanges on Party building both internally within the company and with other organizations. We will establish a platform for communication and exchange among grassroots Party organizations, strengthen mutual learning and sharing among advanced Party branches and outstanding branch secretaries, benchmark against best practices, identify strengths and address weaknesses, and foster a positive atmosphere of continuous learning and improvement. This will effectively elevate the level of Party building in all grassroots Party organizations across the company, and, combined with practical work, promote the deep integration of Party building with business operations, thereby contributing Party-building efforts to the company’s high-quality development.
