To continuously strengthen team-building efforts and effectively enhance the overall competence of team leaders, BGS recently held the second batch of the Team Leader Safety Training Camp successfully at the International Cargo Terminal. Forty team leaders from frontline operational departments participated in this training program.
This session of the Team Leader Safety Training Camp adheres to the guiding principle of “promoting improvement through both internal and external efforts, identifying gaps through communication and exchange, and verifying outcomes via final assessments.” We continuously optimize the teaching process and enhance training effectiveness by introducing advanced concepts, conducting field visits for study and learning, and fostering interactive exchanges and discussions—thus comprehensively and multi-dimensionally improving the overall competence of team leaders. During this camp, the company invited Teacher Wei Zongmin from the Civil Aviation Management Cadre Institute of China to deliver lectures. He provided team leaders with a clear and concise explanation of civil aviation safety and hazard sources, gave a detailed introduction to the HFACS model, analyzed relevant classic cases, and addressed participants’ questions on-site regarding current hot topics in ground support safety management in civil aviation. Meanwhile, relevant functional departments focused on recent general ground accidents in civil aviation and provided in-depth guidance on how team leaders can effectively fulfill their safety management responsibilities, as well as on counter-terrorism measures and the management of document violations. In addition, fire safety training and practical skills competitions were organized. Furthermore, BGS arranged for camp participants to visit and learn at the Beijing Safety Education and Training Base, and also sent representatives of the participants to the Beijing Aviation Fuel Safety Operations Management Department for study tours and exchanges of work management experiences.
At the conclusion of the training camp, the team leaders who had participated in the training collectively took the final assessment and all successfully completed the program. Team leaders from various operational departments shared their insights and experiences on safety management based on their learning during the camp, and engaged in discussions and exchanges.
Through this training camp, the safety management capabilities of team leaders have been comprehensively enhanced, and the “three fundamentals” construction within teams has been deepened, achieving the expected results. Moving forward, BGS will regularly carry out safety training for teams, continuously strengthen the development of its “Foundation Building” brand for teams, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and strive to provide reliable safety guarantees for promoting the company’s high-quality development.
