The breeze carries the promise of blossoms, and spring has arrived on earth. To celebrate the 114th International Women’s Day on March 8, and further enhance the sense of happiness and fulfillment among female employees, the BGS union recently organized a variety of activities for International Women’s Day, enriching employees’ leisure and cultural lives, showcasing the charm of women in the new era, and fostering a warm, loving, harmonious, and inspiring festive atmosphere.

To raise female employees’ awareness of women’s health and further promote knowledge about women’s health, on March 4, the company’s union invited Cai Minzhen, director of the Asian Games branch of iKang National Health, to deliver a health lecture on “two-cancer screening” for the company’s female employees. The aim of the lecture was to enhance female employees’ awareness of preventive healthcare and their ability to protect themselves. The lecture was conducted simultaneously in both online and offline formats, with a total of over 50 participants. The female employees who attended the lecture unanimously expressed that after listening to the health lecture, they had completely dispelled misconceptions about the “two cancers” and gained a deeper understanding of health knowledge related to the prevention of women’s diseases.

To create a vibrant festive atmosphere, each union branch has carefully prepared and organized a variety of cultural and creative courses as well as hands-on crafting activities, offering rich and diverse content. The Passenger Transport Union branch, taking into account women’s natural love for beauty and the practical needs of their work, has launched makeup classes, guiding female employees to become even more beautiful professional women. The Freight Transport Union branch has organized fabric-bag painting and small garden-frame-making workshops, encouraging female employees to capture happy moments with loving eyes and an appreciation for beauty. The Central Operations Control Center Union branch, in collaboration with the Comprehensive Support Union branch, held a DIY short-sleeved T-shirt painting event, where female employees, with their nimble hands, brought to life the lively and colorful essence of spring. The Apron Area and Aircraft Maintenance Union branches hosted DIY pillow-painting workshops, enabling female employees to embrace spring with vivid colors. The Office Union branch organized a DIY felt bag-making activity and a tea ceremony experience class, allowing female employees to savor traditional Chinese culture amid the fragrant aroma of tea. Throughout these activities, female employees have shone brightly, enriched their inner selves, and won high praise from their peers.

Next, the BGS union will further enhance its work with female employees, enrich their cultural and recreational activities, and guide them to continuously strive for excellence in their jobs, honing their skills and fostering personal growth. With the bold spirit of “women are no less capable than men,” they will work diligently, inspiring all female employees to fully play their pivotal role as “half the sky” and providing strong female empowerment to drive BGS’s high-quality development.
