BGS Holds 2023 Budget Interview Session

To ensure the comprehensive preparation of the company’s 2023 budget and to implement the Civil Aviation Administration’s requirement of “living a frugal life,” recently, the BGS Finance Department, in collaboration with the Office, conducted budget interviews for budgets under the Office’s jurisdiction.
This work primarily involves assessing the reasonableness of budgets for five operational departments—the Passenger Transport Department, the Cargo Transport Department, the Aircraft Maintenance Department, the Apron Management Department, and the Central Operations Control Center—based on the budget execution performance in 2022 and the projected growth in business volume for 2023. In addition, we conducted in-depth interviews with the budget managers of each department to gain a deeper understanding of the factors driving cost and expense increases and to adjust non-rigid expenditure budgets accordingly. This effort is an important component of comprehensive budget management, ensuring that each department strictly controls its cost indicators and takes a multi-faceted approach to effectively reduce expenditures.
Going forward, the BGS Finance Department, in collaboration with other relevant functional departments, will continue conducting budget interviews and actively and consistently support the company’s 2023 budget preparation efforts, thereby enhancing the scientific rigor, reasonableness, completeness, and accuracy of the budget.
