Recently, in order to implement the Ministry of Education’s requirements for the pilot program of the 1+X vocational skills certification system, BGS conducted the 2022 national unified examination for the Civil Airport Flight Ground Support 1+X vocational skills certification, targeting secondary and higher vocational colleges in the three provinces of Shanghai, Shandong, and Guangxi.

It is reported that at the end of 2020, BGS successfully obtained accreditation as an examination and certification body for the Ministry of Education’s “Civil Airport Flight Ground Support 1+X Vocational Skills Qualification Certificate” (hereinafter referred to as the “1+X Certificate”). 2022 marked the second year of BGS’s 1+X Certificate assessment and certification program. Compared to 2021, the number of assessment sites increased by three institutions, while the number of candidates taking the exam rose by 141%. The certificate pass rate reached 93%. This examination was centrally organized and deployed by BGS’s Training Department, which rigorously enforced examination discipline, strengthened management throughout the examination process, and upheld the principles of fairness and impartiality, thereby ensuring that the assessment work was scientific, standardized, and compliant with established norms.

Looking back on this year’s 1+X certification program development, under the high attention of the company’s leadership, BGS has adhered to a working approach characterized by early planning, rigorous organization, and a focus on practical results. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the 1+X certification project team members, all tasks have been steadily implemented. In the first half of the year, we conducted online promotion sessions for airport units and vocational colleges across the country. Subsequently, we completed key tasks such as teacher training for the certification, application for examination centers, expansion of the exam question bank, publication of intermediate-level certification textbooks, and development of complementary teaching resources—thus providing strong support for the smooth conduct of the 2022 national unified examination. The successful holding of this year’s national unified examination has enabled BGS to accumulate valuable experience.

In the future, BGS will join forces with more pilot institutions, adopt a multi-pronged approach, and work together to overcome current challenges. We will promote reforms in vocational education’s talent development and assessment models, jointly forge a path of innovation in vocational education, and achieve seamless integration between school-based education and industry certification. In doing so, we will contribute to the nation’s broader reform of vocational education.
