Starting October 29, the Capital Airport began implementing its winter-spring flight schedule. To prepare for the new season, BGS conducted advance planning and unified deployment to ensure safe and smooth operations and efficient, seamless support services for the new season.

Accurate diagnosis ensures equipment stability and safety.

Seasonal equipment maintenance is one of BGS’s key annual tasks. In line with the characteristics of the winter and spring flight seasons, BGS has assembled a team of highly skilled technicians to carry out specialized inspections and maintenance on special vehicles such as shuttle buses, tow trucks, and passenger boarding stairs. This effort further optimizes equipment performance, ensuring that the equipment remains stable and reliable. Additionally, BGS meticulously records data on equipment operation status, technical specifications, and technical performance, making all data clear, precise, and readily accessible at any time.

Meanwhile, to create a warm and comfortable travel experience for passengers, BGS has focused on the shuttle buses, conducting adjustments to the heating systems, thorough cleaning of air-conditioning filters, testing of anti-pinch functions on passenger doors, as well as inspecting and tightening handrails and guardrails inside the cabins. Additionally, the firmness of handrails and side bulkheads on passenger elevators has been checked and maintained, ensuring that all equipment is in optimal condition.

Thoughtful service for convenient and enjoyable travel.

To ensure passengers have the best possible travel experience, BGS has placed particular emphasis on strengthening ideological education among its staff ahead of the official seasonal transition. This enables all employees to mentally “transition” in advance and prepare themselves with a fresh mindset for the arrival of the new flight season. Since some routes will see changes in flight schedules after the start of the new season, BGS has conducted comprehensive adjustments to personnel scheduling based on the overall operational situation, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition in staffing. BGS has also carried out extensive training and assessments on various service-related tasks, deepening employees’ awareness of proactive service delivery and enhancing their professional skills and service standards. For special passenger groups, BGS provides “one-stop” end-to-end services, guaranteeing high-quality and efficient check-in, boarding, and baggage claim processes. In addition, BGS conducts preemptive testing and inspections of relevant equipment and facilities to ensure that special passengers—such as elderly travelers and wheelchair users—can travel safely and conveniently.

Optimize contingency plans and prepare for special weather conditions.

Based on the flight operation trends and characteristics of the winter-spring season, and drawing on experience from previous years, BGS has actively communicated with various airlines and joint inspection agencies to finalize the specific details for seasonal transition support. We have proactively reviewed and refined emergency response plans for common special weather conditions such as strong winds, rain, and snow, as well as contingency plans for flight delays and high-passenger-volume flights, ensuring that we can respond promptly and effectively to any unexpected situations. In addition, BGS has strengthened dynamic monitoring of peak-hour flights, closely tracking flight status and weather alerts in real time. We have also organized training sessions for all staff members in phases, rehearsing emergency response procedures and route-related operations to ensure “zero errors” in seasonal transition operations.

During this de-icing season, BGS has successfully completed the theoretical training and practical assessments for de-icing vehicle drivers, basket operators, and de-icing system dispatchers, making thorough preparations for de-icing support during the winter-spring flight season.

BGS We will continue to closely monitor the operation of flights in the new season, rigorously uphold safety and service standards, optimize service procedures, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights, thereby providing a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience for our passengers.
