As a 1+X vocational skills certification and assessment organization authorized by the Ministry of Education, BGS has been actively implementing the “National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan” and earnestly carrying out the pilot program for the “Diploma Certificate + Vocational Skills Certification” system (“1+X” certificate system), with the aim of cultivating more outstanding skilled professionals in the field of civil aviation ground services and meeting the teaching needs of pilot institutions. After three years of persistent efforts and close collaboration among multiple departments, through continuous innovation, meticulous development, thorough compilation, and rigorous revision and proofreading, BGS has now officially published and released to the public the “Civil Airport Flight Ground Support 1+X Certificate System Series of Textbooks,” all of which are entirely owned by BGS in terms of copyright.

It is reported that the "Civil Airport Flight Ground Support 1+X Certification System Series of Textbooks" is divided into three volumes—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—based on different vocational skill level standards. This marks the first time in BGS’s history that professionally-oriented training materials have been officially published and distributed to the public. The content aligns with the latest civil aviation transportation laws and regulations, places great emphasis on incorporating new knowledge, technologies, processes, and methods emerging from industry developments, and carefully integrates past case studies and experiences in aviation ground services. The series covers various work areas including air passenger services, cargo and mail services, and baggage services.

To better integrate theory with practice and serve our students, making it easier for them to understand, master, and thoroughly grasp the knowledge and skills they’ve learned, BGS has established a deep partnership with Jiangsu Phoenix Education Publishing House. Together, we’ve filmed and edited all 60 work tasks from the beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level textbooks into instructional videos, realistically presenting students with actual workplace scenarios and standardized operational procedures as depicted in the textbooks.

The development, optimization, and refinement of training materials and instructional video resources will not only significantly enhance the certificate teaching standards at pilot institutions and improve trainees’ understanding and mastery of professional knowledge, but also provide better teaching resources for BGS’s internal staff training, reduce the learning difficulty and burden on trainees, effectively strengthen their professional knowledge and skills, and comprehensively support the enhancement of both internal and external training quality and effectiveness at BGS.

In the future, BGS will fully leverage its established online learning and assessment platform, integrating video-based learning resources with printed textbooks to provide schools and learners with more efficient and convenient course instruction services. While further enhancing the quality and effectiveness of BGS’s 1+X vocational skills training program for ground support services at civil airports, we will comprehensively meet the diverse needs of teachers and students alike.
